Change your city and life, plant trees!

“Let’s Root Our Streets!” is a collaborative event within the metropolis of Lyon, allowing residents of a street to modify and revegetate the space in situ, thanks to actresses and actors who accompany them to carry out the different tasks, while raising awareness among passers-by to encourage them to participate. The festival is surrounded by mediation and communication work before and after to encourage the festival to expand to other streets and to train in maintenance.

As part of the Canopée Remix and Workshop in collaboration with Erasme, Innovation Laboratory of the Lyon Metropolis, I was brought to work in a multidisciplinary team to create a project around the question of the Tree, in an open source approach to allow other organizations to take the initiative and push it even further.
